SPARKS FLY!

 "Sparks Fly" was the first show we performed back in August of 2006 at Austin's Velvet Spade (now unfortunately known as "Mohawks"...it was a sad time for us all). The show featured several 1940s traditional-style burlesque numbers set to our dear only the best tunes that the 1940s had to offer (of which there are several!)...plus Amber insisted to throw a few of her favorite blues numbers in there -- it just goes with her character too well to not have those in there! Thank you Muddy Waters to the brilliance you've brought to each of us. A legend.

 It was a perfect chance to introduce each of our characters: Amber Smokes, Ruby Joule, Coco Lectric, & Cherry Zapp...Cherry, though no longer one of our primary dancers, is still very much with us in everything we do. She works as a brilliant MC for us & is always there to make sure everything is 'just-so' at every performance we do whether she is in that particular show or not.

ANYWAY, back to the story...the story revolved around all 4 ladies & their quest to live the lives of only the most prestigious, beautiful ladies of their time.

SPARKS FLY ONCE AGAIN!

 "Sparks Fly Once Again" was an extension of the original "Sparks Fly." We introduced a new male character, 'The Magistrate of Morality' who carried the story along a little further by attempting to stop us ladies from executing such scandalous behavior out & about the town. Does he succeed?

I think we all know the answer to that...
